Selena:

Jared: Let me first start with what I don't like about this photo. 1. It is far too large. If there is anyway in the future you are able to shrink it down just a smidgen, that would be great. The more I look at this photo, the more I am hallucinating grey hairs and wrinkles around your eyes (because of how squint-like they are from smiling). Which leads me to the good stuff; Love. That. Smile. So fresh and pure and real! I'm dazzled!


Jensen: I really like this, you are so cute and this is a beautiful photo.  I don't like the squint, but otherwise, great first shot.  

Shai:The sound effect I hear when looking at this is 'Ehhh DURRRRRRRR' I love your smile, it is so genuine and fresh. I believe someone just told you something HILARIOUS. The squint doesn't bother me as much as the other two only because I know its a genuine laugh by your entire facial expression, But for a modeling perspective I would avoid creating wrinkles and not showing off those beautiful browns of yours. Overall I enjoy this photo.

Naomie:

Jared: First the bad; This photo is enormous, the nick-picker inside me would love for you to shrink down any future photos if you can please. Your face is shiny. Not in a dazzling way, in a gross, sweaty way. On the upside, your smile is cute. Unfortunately, a dazzling smile for me is one that makes me smile back when I look like it, and yours doesn't seem genuine enough. It doesn't seem bright enough. But still cute.



Jensen:  Oh you have a lovely face.  You also smile with your eyes, I love that.  This is really good.

Shai:I will have to agree with Leto on this one. The shiny face is not aesthetically pleasing. I also get the feeling that you are tired in this, maybe too long in front of those big lights? I don't hate this, I feel genuine, goofiness in you and you are quite a beautiful woman.

Jennifer:

Jared: Thank you so much for providing a photo that demonstrates how empty space can kill a shot. Now, I'm a huge B/W fan. Huge. Because in 9 out of 10 cases, black and white can really enhance a photo. This one just happens to fall into the 1/10 that doesn't, and that has a lot to do with the empty space, which, surprisingly, I'm drawn too instead of you because you're so far too the right. On to your smile though... I mean, it's there, so points for that. I'm not really dazzled by it though. I'm not feeling a genuine happiness. I feel no desire to smile myself. This as a lot to do with your eyes, they seem dead. Good news is, you have plenty to improve on for the future and I'm looking forward to it.



Jensen:  Very pretty, your eyes are sparkling.  But I hate hate hate all that empty space at the side that could have been cropped right out of there.   Good job overall though.

Shai:You look quite tired in this to me. I feel that you are ready to fall asleep but someone is forcing you stand and smile in front of the camera. I do want to add that I think you are Gorgeous woman and I look forward to seeing what you will bring this season!

Jared: Good God, James. Where do I start? You're smiling, and I'm sort of smiling back. That's a good start. Unfortunately, I'm smiling back because I am feeling a self-preservation urge to not piss you off because you look like you're a serial killer who is about to snap at any moment. But you look genuinely happy about it! I just can't get behind this photo completely because... well now I'm getting a stoner vibe and those wrinkles and the circles under your eyes and the pale, almost sallow, tint to your skin. Nope, it's working, and yet not working. Sorry.

Jensen:  Your smile is a bit over the top but not your fault right lol  You have laugh lines around your eyes so obviously you smile a lot.  I don't mind this even though I don't love it.




Shai:I really hate how pale you look, I think that's where the freaking feeling Jared is experiencing is caused by this. The smile is strong and you look genuinely sweet.

Eva:

Jared: Alright, Eva. I'm dazzled. But not by your smile. Or your face. Or your skin tone. I understand you explained Eva doesn't show her teeth, and that's fortunate because I Googled and you made the right choice, she looks like a horse when she does in most cases. I am hating how orange you look in this photo though. It is so distracting and unattractive. Those eyes though... and that hair, and the dazzling sparkles around your neck and shoulders. Love those. I am really drawn into your eyes and they are smizing like nobodies business. So I accept and smile back! Good luck!

Jensen:  This is cute.  Not great, but cute.  I wish your smile reached your eyes but your eyes are so bright and gorgeous that they pull me in.  



Shai:You are quite a looker, I will give you that. I wish the smile was well just more than it is, I think you are relying on the fact that you are a real beauty to distract us. I guess you just went with seduction instead of genuine happiness.

Ayumi:

Jared: Ayumi this is adorable. You look so fresh and pure and young in this photo. There are just a few things to work on. Your smile is not front and center for me, although I am smiling back. It's blurred because your large blue eye is clear as day and takes the stage. I also would have liked if your hair wasn't covering the other side of your face, this is still supposed to be a head shot, and commonly your whole face is shown in those. Other than that, brilliant job!

Jensen: I love Ayumi!   And your smile is one of your greatest features.  I'm so excited to critique you once again because you're one of my faves.


Shai:I really expected a picture of your entire face for this challange, that being said I love the smile. I just love it. It reaches your eyes. You are flawless, next time just give us more of what was required. (Full face/head shot)

Matthew:

Jared: Matthew! Our late starter, BUT at least you started! And I have to say, I'm impressed. This is a pretty perfect head shot with a bright smile to boot. I only have a couple of things for you to work on in the future. Your hair is greasy looking and I don't like it. Your eyes seem to have shadows around them with slight bags, but that's really all I've got. I really like this. Well done.

Jensen:  Oh no.  Matthew.  This is not good.  I'm so sorry.  Your hair looks so dirty and flat.   Your mouth, I don't know.  Your eyes are the best part of this photo and they do look dazzling and like they are smiling, so good job there.   Just hope you can bounce back from this disastrous start.



Shai: The only thing I do not like about this is your hair, other than that I love the smile. It is bright and it dazzles. You seem to be having fun. Just shower next time.
